3D Printers (2 units)
We will use two 3D printers from the Prusa brand — the Core 1 and Core 1 L models. To reduce project costs, one of the machines will be purchased in kit form, allowing for significant savings without compromising production quality. With this option, the smaller model has an approximate cost of €1,100, while the larger version costs around €1,700. These machines will cover all stages of manufacturing the lighting components planned for the studio.

General information
We are creating an inclusive lighting studio where people with autism can work in a stable, predictable, and clearly structured environment. Our goal is to offer simple, repetitive, and well-defined tasks—such as 3D printing, material preparation, basic assembly, and packaging—adapted to their sensory and cognitive needs. Through this project, we aim to equip the space, train the first participants, create the first adapted employment positions, and demonstrate that, with appropriate support, people with autism can contribute consistently and productively to the creative sector.

Objectives of the funding campaign
— Purchase of two professional 3D printers and initial production materials.

— Conditioning the workspace to ensure accessibility and adaptation.
— Financing the initial training and job support for the first employees with autism.
— Covering the first month of rent and the minimum start-up costs.
Our goal is to gather the necessary resources to open the first adapted employment workshop of this kind in Torrevieja and to demonstrate that labour inclusion is possible when the environment is properly designed.
In this initial phase, the project is conceived as a pilot experience within the framework of a future Special Employment Centre (CEE). The expected direct impact is the participation of two people with autism: one in a first adapted job position, and a second in a support and learning role, without a full employment relationship at this initial stage.
The aim is to validate the processes, routines and environmental conditions before the formal consolidation of the CEE and the possible expansion of the team. Tasks will be clearly defined, with part-time dedication, personalized support and a predictable, sensory-adapted environment.
Any increase in the number of jobs or beneficiaries will be considered only in later phases, depending on the results obtained and the availability of resources and support.
The campaign budget is designed to cover the project’s start-up phase and the first month of activity. This period will allow us to validate work processes, routines and the viability of the model under real conditions.
Once the studio is operational, project continuity will rely on a combination of limited production, reinvestment of initial income and the progressive search for complementary support, both public and private. The goal of this initial phase is not immediate self-sufficiency, but to establish a stable and realistic foundation for the gradual development of the project.
Any further expansion of the team or activities will be approached progressively, based on the results achieved and the level of sustainability reached.
Why this is important
Why this project is important
People with autism, especially those who require a medium to high level of support, continue to face one of the highest unemployment rates in Europe. This is not due to a lack of ability, but because most work environments are not designed for them: too much noise, too many stimuli, and too many constant changes. The lack of real opportunities leads to isolation and dependence.
This project is important because it creates a space where these barriers disappear. A calm, predictable, and structured workshop allows people with ASD to develop real job skills and regain autonomy.
And there is more.
We work with light, and here light is a symbol.
It means illuminating an invisible reality, making visible a problem that is rarely acknowledged, and at the same time offering a way forward — a light toward the working future of these people. Each lamp produced is also a tangible reminder that inclusion can be real when the right context is created.
Launching this initiative in Torrevieja creates a replicable model and shows that labour inclusion is not theory, but a practical possibility.

That is why this project matters.
We are a family with direct experience in supporting people with autism and in creating structured and predictable environments. Our work combines technical knowledge in 3D printing and simple assembly processes with a deep understanding of the real needs of people on the autism spectrum. In addition, we have experience in 3D modeling since 2019 and in 3D printing using different types of equipment, which allows us to develop our own designs and adapt processes to each specific need.
The project also arises from our own family reality. We have two children with autism, and we want to build a future in which they, as adults, can work, grow and be part of a team in a safe and adapted environment. We hope that, over time, they will be able to join this studio and actively participate in its activities.
This combination of technical expertise, practical knowledge of autism and personal motivation enables us to design a truly accessible, stable and appropriate work environment for those who need it most.
At this initial stage, the project does not yet have formal collaboration agreements with external organizations. The organizations mentioned have been contacted, and some have expressed interest in learning more about the project; however, any future collaboration will depend on the project’s development and the resources available.
For this reason, the campaign seeks not only financial support, but also social, legal and educational support. During the first months of activity, the studio will operate under the supervision of an invited external professional at the local level, with experience in social support. This phase will allow us to validate the working model before establishing stable long-term collaborations.

Our project is dedicated to creating real adapted employment opportunities for people with autism, especially those who require medium to high levels of support and who, despite their abilities, remain excluded from the labour market. Most do not find spaces where tasks are predictable, sensory load is low, and the environment is clearly structured and safe. We want to change this reality.
By creating an inclusive lighting studio, we offer a workplace where activities are simple, repetitive, and broken down into concrete steps: material preparation, basic operation of 3D printers, simple assembly, and packaging. These tasks can be carried out calmly, without pressure, and with the necessary support.
Our social commitment is to:
— create the first adapted job position for a person with autism;
— provide personalized training and continuous support in the workplace;
— offer a stable, structured environment with predictable routines;
— develop a model that can be replicated in other cities;
— demonstrate that, with appropriate adaptation, people with autism can work productively and safely.
We believe that inclusion must be expressed through concrete actions. Through this project, we aim to generate measurable impact: new jobs, new skills, and new opportunities for a community that rarely receives them.
