Next May 7th, in the Casa de Cultura, Acehúche we will have the presence of Miguel Herrero Uceda
For those of you who don't know him, Miguel Herrero Uceda is a career computer scientist and PhD in Artificial Intelligence, a multidisciplinary branch of research. He is a writer, teacher and natural scientist committed to the defense of the environment and the conservation of traditional popular culture.
It is a real honour to have Miguel Herrero in Acehúche on May 7th. His presentation, entitled: "La Dehesa, el gran valor natural y social de nuestros encinares" will give us even more reasons to protect, as we are already doing, the Dehesa de las Navas de Cañaveral, an area -as you already know- threatened by a speculative project of open pit mining.
We still have a long way to go.
We have not yet reached our goal, and it looks like we will need every penny we can raise.... Unfortunately, this project seems to count (without listening to us) on the approval of the Extremadurian Administrations.
