Comenzamos con el envío de recompensas 💌

Estos últimos 40 días, desde que empezó la campaña de crowdfunding ha sido una montaña rusa de emociones y trabajo. Todos los que han formado parte de este proceso estamos felices de los resultados y acogida del proyecto. Pero sobre todo de sentir el apoyo de las personas que estáis co-creando con nosotras, con vuestras aportaciones y vuestras palabras de ánimo. 🧡

En este último mes han surgido colaboraciones con proyectos que admiramos, hemos estado creando las recompensas a vuestras donaciones, tiñendo en el taller, empezando a planificar una pequeña producción limitada de jerséis y planteando nuevos proyectos a nivel local, para la recuperación de la lana en esta zona de Galicia, os contaremos más a través de redes: https://www.instagram.com/materiabotanica_/

Pero no todo ha sido fácil ni lo esperado, el taller con el que íbamos a trabajar en Galicia ha cerrado y ahora estamos buscando otro taller que pueda adaparse a las pequeñas cantidades que buscamos hacer. El cierre de pequeños talleres es una pandemia desde que llegó el imperio del fast fashion. Esto nos hace reflexionar en cómo el sistema productivo actual está planteado sólo para producir a gran escala y cómo los talleres o proyectos que no pueden sostener ese ritmo impuesto tratan de sobrevivir o terminan por desaparecer. Desde aquí podemos plantearnos cambiar en nuestra forma de crear, colaborando con pequeños talleres, usando materiales locales... etc. Pero también como consumidores sosteniendo proyectos cercanos, que tengan un impacto en el territorio no sólo económicamente, también a nivel cultural y social.
